Food-grade activated charcoal powder produces NO BLEED when used in royal icing, and is a natural colorant - activated charcoal produced from coconut shells is the highest quality carbon available.
- Add 1/8 tsp at a time to royal icing until desired shade is achieved.
- Mix a small amount of alcohol into activated charcoal to produce edible black food paint.

First time user of activated charcoal and it was easy to use and painting on royal icing worked really well. You can achieve light gray to jet black easily. I will definitely continue to use.
Just want I need. The fact it doesn't bleed its a plus.

I purchased this product for one reason - NO Bleeding.
It has worked amazingly. I recently made bright lemon yellow cookies with lots of black accents and it definitely did what it promised 0 No Bleed.
